Volunteers play an important role in supporting the programs, activities and experiences offered at Karingal Primary School.
The support provided by parents, carers, grandparents and other family and community members helps strengthen our school community and enrich opportunities for students across many areas of school life.
There are a variety of ways volunteers may be involved within the school, including supporting classroom activities, excursions, special events, community programs, fundraising activities and other school initiatives.
Whether volunteering regularly or assisting on occasion, every contribution is valued and appreciated.
Volunteering helps build positive connections between families, staff and students, while supporting a welcoming, inclusive and collaborative school environment.
We encourage members of our school community to become involved where possible and to share their time, skills and experiences in ways that support student learning and wellbeing.
All volunteers are required to follow school and Department of Education requirements, including maintaining appropriate Working With Children Check and Child Safety obligations where applicable.
