Welcome to Karingal Primary School.
Karingal Primary School is committed to providing a friendly, dynamic and stimulating learning environment where students feel secure, happy and are highly motivated to learn.
At all times great emphasis is placed on building relationships amongst students, between teachers and students and with parents and caregivers of our students.
Karingal Primary School is proud to offer two curriculum streams that foster the growth of the whole student. We have an exciting traditional Mainstream educational program and one based on the Montessori approach and philosophy.
Our staff is a highly professional team of educators who continually strive for best practice, innovation and creativity. They are united in their passion to provide each and every child with the optimum opportunity to be the best that they can be. They have a genuine affection and dedication for the children in their care and develop positive relationships to support their social and emotional wellbeing, whilst promoting a connectedness to our school.
There is a strong emphasis on the teaching of Literacy and Numeracy at Karingal Primary School. These key elements of learning are well supported through a balanced program that includes the specialist programs of Visual Arts, Performing Arts, Japanese and Physical Education. Programs are tailored to personalise learning opportunities and designed to best meet the needs of each individual student. We are proud of the academic standards achieved by our students.
At Karingal Primary School, we promote ‘RIPRRness’. Our students leave us ready to embark on their secondary school journeys with established academic skills, self-confidence and pride in themselves.
We look forward to meeting and welcoming families new and current to our friendly, supportive school environment.

The Child Safe Standards
The Child Safe Standards are Victoria's approach to ensuring a zero-tolerance approach to child abuse. For schools the Child Safe Standards will ensure that proactive systems and processes are in place to prevent and respond to child abuse.
