At Karingal Primary School, our Annual Implementation Plan (AIP) outlines the key improvement actions, goals and strategic focus areas guiding teaching, learning, wellbeing and school development throughout the year.

Developed in alignment with the School Strategic Plan, the AIP supports ongoing improvement, accountability and positive outcomes for every student.

Our priority areas are informed by student learning data, wellbeing outcomes, community feedback and ongoing reflection.

These priorities help shape teaching and learning programs, staff professional learning, student wellbeing initiatives and whole-school improvement practices across the school.

Through ongoing review and evaluation, the AIP supports the school in maintaining a strong focus on improvement, accountability and high-quality learning opportunities for all students.

It also provides a practical framework for monitoring progress and ensuring our strategic priorities remain responsive to the needs of our school community.

In 2026, our Annual Implementation Plan is centred on two key areas of school improvement.

The first focuses on improving student learning outcomes in literacy and numeracy through the consistent implementation of Explicit Teaching practices aligned with the Victorian Teaching and Learning Model (VTLM).

The second focuses on strengthening student engagement and wellbeing through the continued development of a School-Wide Positive Behaviours approach that promotes positive relationships, self-regulation and positive learning behaviours.

Through ongoing monitoring, professional learning and evidence-based decision making, these priorities support our commitment to continuous improvement and success for every student.
