SubscribeHarmony and Friendship Day: Friday 16th August
Friday 16th August we will be celebrating Harmony and Friendship Day. This day combines and is in recognition of National Day Against Bullying and Violence and Harmony Week. Students will be participating in activities in their grades and buddy grades.
A hot food lunch will also available if students would like.
Please wear a splash of orange and odd socks to celebrate the day.
Classroom Awards
Congratulations to the following students who received a classroom award at assembly:
Congratulations to Ashley for being selected as Writer of the Week for her Information Report about 'The Sun'. Her handwriting and presentation were outstanding also.
Each class chose a country to represent and they all looked fabulous in their vibrant country colours as they paraded around the gym!
It was amazing to see our students embracing different cultures and showcasing their team spirit.
Go Team KPS!
Dear Parents/Carers
Each year Karingal Primary School conducts a Parent Opinion Survey with the school community. All families are invited to participate in the survey. Results will be used to inform and direct our future school planning and improvement.
Please take the time to complete the survey as your opinions are important to us and will contribute to the future management and organisation of our school. The department will use the results from the survey for research purposes and to improve outcomes for students.
Please be assured that your responses are completely confidential. The survey is conducted anonymously, and it is important to us that you complete the survey as honestly as possible.
Last week, you were provided with a PIN to complete the survey. This is to ensure that parents / caregivers / guardians only complete the survey once. The school can never see your responses linked with the PIN.
Thank you in advance for taking the time to complete the survey. As always, Karingal Primary School wants to do the best we can for all our students and families.
Tickets are on sale now for our Sci-Fi school concert – Mayday.
Every child in the school will be dancing with their class on the huge stage at the Frankston Arts Centre and the show will finish with the whole school singing the grand finale song together on stage.
All tickets are $25 from the box office or online at Karingal Primary School: Mayday Frankston Arts Centre or use the QR code above (children under 24 months are free if they sit on an adult’s lap).
Costumes - This year we have tried to keep the dance costumes simple and we do NOT expect families to go out and buy new clothes. Look in your cupboards and wardrobes and if you can’t find anything suitable, please come and see Ms. Holmes or Mary as we have costumes that the children can borrow.
Check the list below for the class dance costumes and if you think you have any spare costumes you would be willing to lend or donate, please bring them into school and drop them off at the Music room.
