A parent or guardian of a primary or secondary student, up to the age of 16, who holds a current pension concession, health care, benefit, Veterans Affairs (TPI pension card), or a Foster Parent card on the FIRST day of Term 1 and /or Term 3 in the school year is eligible for payment of the EMA.
